Bebras Challenge

Introduction

The Bebras Challenge originated from Lithuania, advocated by Professor Valentina Dagience of the University of Vilnius in 2004, has an 18-year history from over 160 countries by online mode of implementation. This challenge presents students with simple, vivid, and practical situational questions, to let students cultivate a scientific thinking mindset and problem-solving skills. Computational thinking is an essential ability for the new generation. Participants can utilize core computational thinking abilities such as abstraction, algorithm design, problem solving, pattern recognition, and automation to resolve problems.
